This reproduction was made for a talk at the Tidewater Chapter of SAPFM Spring 2025 meeting. The original was made circa 1790. All of the show surfaces were made from (1) Sapele board measuring 8/4" x 12" x 12 foot. The top center and the leaves were resawn and bookmatched. Todd at Yukon was patient while I tried to find the right board. The cuff banding was shop made and a close copy of the original.
