I bought this beautiful African Mahogany from you guys and decided I was gonna build my family a beautiful dining room table and embark on my first serious woodworking project. This was probably the most artistically challenging project I’ve taken on in recent memory. I made mistake after mistake at every single step of this project, but I also significantly improved my wood working skills. I was able to hand chisel real wood joinery and connect the legs to the apron with mortise and tenons instead of screws or hardware. I had to buy many tools and frequently came inside defeated after screwing up yet another joint, but we finally have somewhere to eat meals together that will last a lifetime. Thankful to Yukon for taking the time to talk me through the early stage of this project and making woodworking approaching enough to get me started. I will definitely be back for future projects.
